ANNIE WOODHOUSE BENEFIT CLINIC

The Annie Woodhouse Benefit Clinic was a huge success this weekend. Thank you to everyone that attended or donated money. It was great to see Annie and Tony out and about and Annie assures us she will be back reining!!

On behalf of CARHA, thanks to Robyn and Warwick Schiller for donating their time instructing the clinic. It was a huge day with alot of riders and although darkness was approaching, they still made sure everyone got to run their individual pattern and receive instruction throughout their run.

Thanks also to Mark for looking after the canteen and everyone else that helped out on the day. More Photos>>>>>

PONY CLUB REINERS
Our club president, Warwick Schiller and committee member wife, Robyn, took a huge step in grass roots development of reining on July 8th.  The Schiller's attended the 60th Annual Young Pony Club Camp in Young, NSW and demonstrated the sport of reining.  Warwick took the microphone and described the objective of the sport and the maneuvers that make it up. During his explanation, Robyn rode her horse Smart Like Smart, and showed them what he was talking about, (demonstrating some of the maneuvers bridleless).  There were over 180 pony club kids, instructors and some parents watching on.  You know that it went well when the feedback that was heard included, "I never thought I'd ever see the perfect horse, but today I did."  The current pony club president offered Warwick an instructor job at next year's camp, as the reining instructor.  Now that is grass roots development!
