HI POINT STANDINGS - (pdf format) updated 8 November 2009.
Points are accumulated as follows:
1 horse, first place one point , 2 horses first place 2 point 2nd place 1, 3
horses first place 3 points 2nd 2 and 3rd 1 point…. and so on until we
get to a maximum of 6 points. On the basis that we would have 6
shows the minimum amount of points a competitor must have in one
class before being eligible for a high point award is 8. (So in effect this
combination must beat another competitor at least twice.) Youth
classes have no minimum number. 0 scores will receive no points however
will be counted in the number of horses in the class. i.e. 2 horses in
class one zeros and other scores. 1st place 2 points the other receives
no points. If horses are scratched it is not counted in the total class
number.
